Do you Remember
Do you Remember,
those things that we saw,
that day,
I think so long ago,
so far away,
so deep-stuck in the snow of time,
that falls,
in heavy blankets,
and fades to ice,
and leads to that emptiness that I desire,
where is this sun,
I cannot see it,
blocked out by the trees,
grown from the seeds of the past,
the branches remain,
each one the same,
yet alone in itself.
